Rutgers University-New Brunswick does not list separate required supplemental essays for applicants using the Common Application. Applicants should still complete the required personal essay through the application platform. The Rutgers Application essay is limited to 3,800 characters, including spaces. The Common Application essay is limited to no more than 650 words and must be at least 250 words.
